Meet Amélie. Amélie has been working at Mopinion for nearly six months now as our Customer Success Manager for the EMEA region. With a knack for languages (she speaks French, Dutch and English) and an appreciation for the ‘Mopinion spirit’, she’s a great asset to our team. When she’s not behind her desk helping out customers, she’s outside enjoying nature or working out.
Let’s see how Amélie feels about working at Mopinion and what she has in mind for the next few years.

What does your position at Mopinion entail?
“As a Customer Success Manager, I make sure that our customers get the best out of our tool! I am responsible for teaching them all the ins and outs of Mopinion, so that they can use Mopinion optimally and can create surveys effectively.”
What initially drew you to Mopinion?
“I really like the idea of working in an international environment and being able to speak multiple languages throughout the day. Mopinion is a young, spirited and innovative company that naturally motivates you to do your best. It’s a company with great vibes, makes you feel alive! And we have the best colleagues!”
What does a typical work day look like for you?
“It varies a lot, which is actually what I enjoy. Every week is different. One thing does remain: having lots of video meetings with customers, whereby I guide and provide them with tips on how to optimize their usage of Mopinion. I also provide different types of training to customers on our tool.”
What is your favorite part about working at Mopinion?
“My lovely colleagues and customers! We have a lot in common – always striving to improve and optimize”
What are the biggest challenges you face in your job?
“Managing a larger portfolio of clients, which means that I have to divide/ plan and dedicate my time to each accordingly. The goal is always to provide great service to every customer.”
What is your proudest moment at Mopinion?
“Rekindling and building long-term business relationships! I am very proud when a customer is 100% satisfied and can work independently with our feedback tool.”
She’s also great at providing our customers with the advice they need to move forward.
“Some choose to only use the feedback button, and so I like to show them other ways to collect feedback more proactively. Usually, when a customer drafts their first survey it can be quite long, this tends to be too overwhelming for the user. I advise them to segment the survey, only showing relevant questions so that the users will be more likely to give feedback. Create short surveys at different moments of the customer journey ”

What do you like to do in your free time?
“I love the outdoors and being out in nature, although it is not all that easy to find ‘nature’ in this city, so I am eternally grateful for my garden. There is no better medicine than breathing fresh air and being surrounded by green. It makes me feel alive!
I also really enjoy working out and pushing myself to the limit, so pretty much any sport that gives adrenaline rush.
And of course, spending quality time with family and friends.”
Who inspires you?
“My absolute hero and source of inspiration is: Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. He is a clinical psychologist that teaches the importance of accountability and responsibility. I believe it is one’s duty to take accountability, to implement what you learn, to self-improve and then give your best to others. What is your contribution to the world?”
What is the most ridiculous fact you know?
“Discovering that the hole in a cutting board is not just to hold your cutting board, but to let your vegetables slide through after you’ve cut them.”
What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?
“ My best purchase would have to be a “massage gun” and my worst would be all of the repairs I’ve paid for my ‘ancient bicycle’. Let’s face it, it’s a wreck.”
Aha! A struggle faced by many people living in the Netherlands…
Where do you see yourself in five years?
It’s a difficult question, life is unpredictable (and it should be). I strive for proper work/ life balance. I’m always looking for new ways to self-actualize, both professionally and personally. I would like to give back to the community, help others. Also, STAY CURIOUS.”
