Mopinion integrates with collaboration app Basecamp

That’s right! Mopinion has also joined forces with popular collaboration app, Basecamp. This new webhook integration enables teams to achieve next-level digital feedback management through improved productivity in project management.

Now you can push feedback items directly to your Basecamp Projects and To-Do lists. Is your Basecamp environment broken down into teams? Then you can send relevant feedback to the right department for further action. For example, set up the webhook so that bug issues are sent to your web development team, textual improvements are sent to marketing and so on.

What is Basecamp?

Basecamp is a unique collaboration app that combines all the tools teams need for project management in one place: message boards, schedules, to-do lists, group chat, documents & file storage, and more. Instead of stuff scattered all over, everything you’re working on is in one streamlined, organised place. Basecamp’s goal is to help companies and teams achieve higher levels of productivity through better communication and organisation.

How to implement the Mopinion – Basecamp integration

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to implement this new integration with Mopinion. Note: this integration is only supported on Mopinion Raspberry (not for Classic).

Step 1: Go to your Mopinion account and select the webhook ‘Basecamp’.



Step 2: Create the connection by requesting your ‘API Token’.



Step 3: You will then be redirected to your Basecamp account where you must grant Mopinion access authorisation.



Step 4: Once you’ve granted access, you will be automatically redirected to your Mopinion account where your API token will appear. Name the connection and click Save.



Step 5: The next step is to select your endpoints. In other words, where your feedback will be sent to within Basecamp. In this case, we’ve created a project called, ‘Webhook project’ and will forward all feedback (based on certain criteria) to our ‘Webhook To Do’ list.



Step 6: Now it’s time to choose which feedback you want to have sent to your Basecamp project. You can select certain data within the form as well as when this data is sent, i.e. all new feedback or when a field contains a certain value. Once you’ve selected your criteria, click on ‘Create Webhook’.



Step 7: Your feedback will be forwarded to your project and will look as follows.
